I’ve read Harry Potter, Twilight, Keepers of the Lost Cities, House of Night Series, The Handmaids Tale, The Fourth Wing, ACOTAR (the first 2 books, didn’t enjoy it after that), and I’m super into Harry Potter fanfic. I love books that you can get lost in, that have cliff hangers/plot twists and just keep you engaged. Need some recommendations.
Thank you in advance 🫶🏽✌🏽💕

I never see it mentioned much, but I really enjoyed the Delerium series.
The Scholamance series by Naomi Novik. The first book is A Deadly Education.
Think dystopian Hogwarts with a romance subplot.
[Nevermoor](https://app.thestorygraph.com/books/6a6d5ca1-b2f5-47be-828c-018144d3bbc7) by Jessica Townsend! It’s my favorite series even as an adult, and the only one that makes me feel the way the Harry Potter books used to.
Neverwhere or The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman.
If you liked Harry Potter, have you considered the Percy Jackson books?
In a similar vein there is the Artemis Fowl series.
Or to go along with what another user suggested, Naomi Novik has a series called Temeraire. It’s about Napoleonic Warfare, but what it their were dragons. You may like that since you liked Fourth Wing.
I read the Chronicles of Nick a lot when I was younger, though it is more paranormal/urban fantasy than the books you have described.
The Princess Bride is a classic, it’s a great read.
A series I read 5/7 of the books in it recently (in about as many days lol) starts with a book titled “The Sneaky Lass”, it has pirates and sailing in it etc. HOWEVER, be very careful as it can get very dark, but I wanted to recommend it since you liked the Handmaids tale and that book is also pretty disturbing at points, so I wasn’t sure what your tolerance was
*The Raven Cycle* series by Maggie Stiefvater – four books
*The Grishaverse* by Leigh Bardugo – it’s a world spanning several different series: **Shadow and Bone** trilogy, **Six of Crows** duology, and **King of Scars** duology. You can read each series on its own or in order, whichever you prefer
If you like dystopian novels, mystery, and plot twists, I’d recommend these engaging young-adult-appropriate novels (they’re great for both teens and adults):
THE MAZE RUNNER by James Dashner (A boy with amnesia wakes up trapped in a maze.)
THE UNKNOWN by J.W. Lynne (Eight kids learn the shocking reason why they were kidnapped.)
THE 5TH WAVE by Rick Yancey (A girl struggles to survive an alien invasion.)
Red Rising and the Magisterium series sound like they’d be up your alley!
