Bedtime books with my 4-year-old

I read to my 4-year-old every night before bed, and we're always on the lookout for our next book. We've read lots of classics that I remember from my childhood, with mixed reviews, but we've both been really enjoying The Wild Robot series by Peter Brown.

Any other similar books we might try? What's your favourite book that you read with your kid? Or that you remember your parents reading to you?
