My emotionally immature mother loves to read. So I thought maybe a book could be a good way to get her to understand the impacts of her emotional immaturity.
I am looking for a book from either the perspective of the child affected by said parent, or from the perspective of the parent who realized their errors. Bonus points if it was written by a black or neurodivergent author.
Thanks in advance!

“ Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents” by Lindsay Gibson. But the irony is that it would require emotional maturity for her to even pick up this book.
