The novel called hex by Dutch author Thomas OLDE HUGHVELT
I am using voice to text for the authors name actually for the whole title and everything because I am blind. So phonetically it might be right, but I apologize if it has any difficulty in locating the book.
This is a book about a town a few miles from Salem, Massachusetts. And during the Salem witch trials when they were killing women by the scores, accusing them of being witches at some point, the town was cursed. And the story takes place in modern day and the town has been cursed for Decades and decades since the witch trials were centuries, and the curse is that an undead witch continues to wonder within city limits and the town has sort of become a custom to it and found a way to work around it. But things do not go as people expect And thus we have a novel.
This is more of a popcorn read than anything deep, meaningful, or especially insightful. But there are some interesting stories within the novel, and I listened to the whole thing via audiobook from the library, and I found it enjoyable enough to recommend here. If you read it I hope you have fun with it.
