    Hi!

I was an avid reader up untill a couple years ago. Life hit hard and now I have fallen down the intellectual ladder and succumb to reading juicy gossip on reddit. I would love to go back to reading good fiction/non-fiction books which make a more informed, educated and a better human- no bar on the genre.

Please suggest books which lure me back! Prefer reading books in English but will manage to find English translations of works in other languages too.

    Apologies for any formatting issues.

For the second time today, I’m recommending Ducks by Kate Beaton. It’s a graphic novel with lots of morality issues in it and it’s based on the author’s life.

My most recent five star read was The Love Songs of W.E.B. Du Bois by Honorée Fanonne Jeffers. It’s 800 pages and follows a Black (and Indigenous and white) family in Georgia from enslavement to modern day. I really think it’s a masterpiece and I learned a lot.
