I am looking for books about life after societal collapse, with ideally a female main character (bonus points if the characters are queer/trans!) I have read I Who Have Never Known Men and Severance and loved them both dearly, so anything similar to that I would go crazy for. I'm not a huge fan of action-centric books, and much more enjoy character driven and quiet stories. Thank you all for any suggestions!!!

Book of the Unnamed Midwife series.
It starts off PA, but moves to more post-post in the third, I think.
Feed by Mira Grant, likely a little more action but still very good and plot/character driven.
