I became aware of this book recently after reading Steven Fry's books Mythos and Heros, I thought it was going to be a more in depth telling of the Greek story of Sisyphus, OH BOY, was I wrong.

A book on self awareness and philosophy, basically examining the way we see ourselves, our life and our situation.

Very much what I'd call an intellectual read, not for the faint hearted.

It does go into some detail and explanation of the legend, but more in reference to his mindset rather than a literary telling of the story.

    Glad I read it? Yes.

Did I enjoy it? Not so much enjoy, but enlightening.

Recommend it as a good read? Probably not for everyone.

    1. Love that book, absurdism at its best. It’s definitely a philosophical read for similar themes but novelized highly recommend Camus’ The Plague and The Stranger
