      Station Eleven by Emily St John Mandel. A pandemic ends the world. A travelling symphony tries to give it back art. There are timelines before, during, and after the end of the world. My favourite book of the 2010s.

      Moon of the Crusted Snow / Moon of the Turning Leaves. By Waubgeshig Rice. An indigenous take on surviving the end of the world.

      The Marrow Thieves by Cherie Dimaline. Another take on the indigenious peoples surviving the end of the world.

      Bonus, they’re all Canadian authors so they aren’t as famous. Mandel is probably the most famous, but that’s not saying much.
