this might be SUPER specific, but my most favorite scene/trope in a book is where the main character is running from someone like it’s the trope where they’re running from like an enemy and they’re kind of usually injured, and while they’re running it just feels like the whole world is watching and kind of holding their breath and watching to see what if they make it.
i’ve only ever read two books with this type of scene, one being the last book in the throne of glass series, and the other being mortal skin by lily mayne.
If anyone has read a book with any type of scene like this please tell me 😭. Reading those type of scenes give me such chills and goosebumps and I feel so immersed in the book, it’s so exciting to read.
