i've had a big reading slump in the middle of this year but i'm determined to get back to it. i've only read 8 books so far (which is a lot but last year i read 80 books soooo). i'm currently reading Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro but i need some more inspiration. so far i've read:
Vengeful by V.E. Schwab – 3/5, disappointing sequel
The Memory Police by Yoko Ogawa – 5/5, so far my favourite this year
The Six Deaths of the Saint by Alix E Harrow – 4/5, would be 5/5 if it was longer than 30 pages
In the Dream House by Carmen Maria Machado – 4/5
Babel by R.F Kuang – 5/5
Cultish: The Language of Fantaticism by Amanda Montell – 4/5
The Briar Book of the Dead by A.G Slatter – 3/5
Hell Followed With Us by Andrew Joseph White – 4/5, loved his more recent book
