Ok, I read a rather ridiculous amount. 8 novels in the past week. 3 new: (The Mercy of Gods The Captive's War Book 1 – James S. A. Corey, World Walkers – Neal Asher and Good Boys – The Lost Tribe by Jeremy Robinson; and 5 rereads – all Terry Pratchett) and am running out of books/authors. I prefer sci fi, but will dip into horror/fantasy. Thing is, I like my books dense; chock full of details. The writing doesn't have to be top notch as long as I'm interested.

Some of my fav sci fi authors include: early John Varley, Vonda McIntyre, Neal Asher, William Gibson, Frank Herbert, Sherri S Tepper, to name a few. Fantasy/Horror auths like Terry Pratchett, Simon Greene (Nightside series only), old Stephen King. I liked the initial Expanse books although the later ones became formulaic and kind of boring to me (the new Captive's War is interesting so far). And Charles Stross too; I'm kind of unsure which genre he would go into LOL he kinda hits em all. I've read all the classics, from Asimov to Clarke to Niven and Baxter but want something new.

So I need some new books/authors, that might fit the bill. Any suggestions?

Oh, and I hated Project Hail Mary.
