Recommend a book that makes me feel something

I used to love reading but I’ve kind of fallen out of it. Nothing I read anymore grabs at me the way it used to. I want to read something that’ll make me get sucked into the story and feel something like books used to when I was a kid. If it helps two of my fav books of all time are The Picture of Dorian Gray and 1984.
