I have some time off and I'm always drawn to reading books about psychology/trauma/self-help, but I can only digest so much at a time and it can get heavy. I could use some novel suggestions – I like to read stories that are meaningful, easy reads that are hard to put down, make you think about the human condition or open your mind in some way, but aren't too heavy. non-fiction also welcome (ex. when breath becomes air – a favourite!!) would love suggestions!!
