Hello!
Please read before recommending me a book since I'm really desperate to find a book with a Protagonist like the character "Sam Fisher".
Sam Fisher: A deadly, dangerous, smart and highly skilled operative working solo for a covert-ops division. A ghost and a character with a subtle humor, dry, and often laced with sarcasm who injects a bit of humor into tense situations. Who kills and/or incapacitates enemies.
The Story should be also good, deep and gripping. If possible it should be "modern time" (The late 20 century or the 2000s) and without the "James Bond" romanticism.
I'd also like if the book concentrates into the characters personal life, like he has a child or wife and if something happens to them he does everything to save them, even betray his agency.
I know I'm really specific but that's why I'm here.
