Hey there, I’m an asian girl in my 20s and I’m trying to get my life together: starting with my finances. I’m aware of my consumerist tendencies and I want to deinfluence myself so I can save up for my financial goals.
My suggestion prompt is a bit specific, but if you have something good to recommend then please let me know 🙂 I’m also open to titles that are geared towards frugality and minimalism with women as the target audience. Thanks!

It’s not strictly on consumerism, but The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo does touch on ideas of anti-consumerism and learning to be happy with the physical items you have.
You must read The Simple Path to Wealth by JL Collins. It’s a life-changing book about how to save your money and plan for early retirement. I read it at 30 when I was obsessed with consumerism. It changed everything about how my husband and I save. Now nearly 40, we are on path to retirement in the next decade.
