Ive never been much of a reader due to my ADHD and hyperactivity, but I recently started medication and would like to explore reading as a way to unwind and relax. I’m looking for suggestions that could help me get hooked and turn reading into a new hobby.

And then there were none by Agatha Christie
I recently started 11/22/63 by Stephen King and it’s pretty good so far! I also have ADHD so I need a quick hook.
Try audiobooks as well – a good pair of earbuds with audiobooks while doing things like housework and yardwork (or just relaxing) may work well for you.
For physical books, Several of Kurt Vonnegut’s books (such as Cat’s Cradle and Hocus Pocus) are written in very short passages as opposed to long chapters, making reading them in small stints totally doable.
