I'm looking for books that make me feel the way Rammstein's songs do.
Violence, death, murder, SA, but portrayed in a way that makes me appreciate the author's exercise of human creativity to explore these themes.
For example, Leautremont describing a child's murder and then the perpetrator apologizing to him in The Songs of Maldoror.
