I'm looking for a fiction book or memoir that is or seems like it could be from the perspective of someone with schizophrenia or psychosis. Realistically so, and extra points if it's not explicitly called that or diagnosed. I'm specifically interested in the aspects of delusion and the style it's written in; anything that mimics thought disorder would be good. I had an episode of psychosis a few years ago and I've always wanted to read books that expressed that experience but haven't found much.
Some examples to give you ideas: No Longer Human by Dazai Osamu was good for the delusional paranoia of other people. The Passion According to GH by Clarice Lispector is also in the vein of what I'm looking for, especially the style of it! That unexpected twisting of common words & making neologisms to express a highly metaphorical and internal experience is my favorite part about it. Also, I haven't finished it yet, but Nausea by Sartre seems to fit as well.
    So, any recommendations?
