Hey all, I'm looking for a novel that fits the following criteria-
– features gay male romance/desire or something along those lines but is not primarily a "romance novel"
– is written in literary style, ideally seen as "prestigious"
– is not YA
– I will take crime and thrillers but less fussed about fantasy and sci fi – I do like speculative fiction however
Let me know your faves! I've read a few Alan Hollinghurst which I loved (The Stranger's Child, The Line of Beauty and The Sparsholt Affair) and some of the Tales of the City novels which I quite liked.
