I can’t manage to read any books on my tbr. So I’m here for more suggestions. Anything attention capturing will do. Some of my absolute favorites are murder on the orient express, Sherlock Holmes books, Almost all John Green and Chloe Gong books, so basically I like YA, mystery thrillers, detective mysteries and a little bit of romance. But anything at this point will do. Help.

Have you read anything by Elizabeth Peters? She has a couple of series, the Amelia Peabody and Vicky Bliss series are my fav. They’re mysteries with a little bit of romance.
Charlie N Holmberg’s **Spellbreaker** duology or **Whimbrel House** series might do for you.
They’re alternate history/fantasy/romance/cozy mystery books that are perfect for when you want something gentle and goes down easy.

Anything by Charles deLindt. He writes urban fantasy. His books are frequently interconnected in some way. Great world building, characters and stories. I also just finished another fun urban fantasy series by Kim M Watt:

Another good writer of mysteries – Martha Grimes. Inspector Richard Jury series. Great characters.
Another fantasy writer – Terry Pratchett. His Discworld books are excellent. One of my favorites is Night Watch.

If you’ve already hit Agatha Christie, my next recommendation would be Dorothy L. Sayers and her Lord Peter Whimsey mysteries.
If you’re in the mood for some historical fiction with your mystery, there’s the Brother Cadfael mysteries by Ellis Peters, which are set in 11th century England, during the civil war between King Stephen and Empress Maud for the throne. (For context, Maud is Richard the Lionheart’s grandmother.) Cadfael is a former Crusader turned herbalist/Benedictine monk, and he ends up solving murders that occur in and around his abbey.
I see a Christie novel in your past. Have you read And Then There Were None by her? It’s my favorite novel of hers by far.
Branching out from Christie and your usual genre, how about time travel? Some notable mentions are 11/22/63 by Stephen King and Matt Haig’s novels: How to Stop Time and/or The Midnight Library.
