Anyone interested in a Booker Prize Short List read-a long? There are 6 books, and about 1700 pages of reading. The winner will be announced on Nov. 26th. So, it is not an overwhelming amount to read in 2 months. Half of the books are available at my local library, and I don't live in a particularly well served area — only one of them is not available in the US (Stone Yard Devotional) but I ordered it from Blackwells.
It would be fun to read and compare notes, and make predictions about who the winner will be. I can do a weekly round up if people are interested.
