My younger sister is getting married later this fall, and I will be writing a toast for her. I’ve been thinking a lot about our connection, but I’ve actually found it difficult to sort through some of my feelings about our relationship. I thought there might be some literature out there (either fiction or non-fiction, or even poetry) that can help clarify my thoughts on sisterhood before I potentially embarrass myself in front of our larger community. We are 4 years apart and both in our early/mid thirties. We are both women, if that is not clear, and we have a good, friendly relationship.
