Hi guys, just finished reading Secret Wars by Jonathan Hickman (marvel comics event). It featured the "Illuminati" a sub-group of the main avengers team composed of the leaders/kings of various teams/groups in the Marvel Universe (Mr. Fantastic, Black Panther, Namor, Doctor Strange etc.)
The Illuminati were faced with lots of moral decisions throughout the story. One of them was choosing between destroying an alternate earth just to save their own home-earth/universe, while juggling the morality of killing an entire planet and justifying it as the greater good / lesser evil.
Any recommendations for books with similar themes about leaders / kings struggling about large scale decisions and its effect on his own people and other nations? Preferably sci-fi, fantasy, or straight up political thriller would be nice.
