My LO doesn't enjoy TV and really just wants to read. Great! Problem is, they're having trouble now with books they're calling "too big" which, I think, means they're too long for them to follow the storyline.
I don't believe they need short stories or the books written for dementia (yet), but rather, just books that are actually shorter in length. They're not having trouble processing vocabulary or reading itself, so I want to encourage this.
Their favorite author is Elizabeth Berg.
Anyone have recommendations for books that might be shorter in length that are similar to Elizabeth Berg-style writing?
