I know I’m about to have a den of vipers hangover and would like to have something to treat it with after if anyone can help… I usually tend to lean more to the higher fantasy side of fiction but I’ve been enjoying the more real world fiction lately if that helps.

A few books that gave me hangovers (so maybe they’ll cure yours):
The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver
Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens
The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova
The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold
State of Wonder by Ann Patchett
Great Apes by Will Self.
The high auction by Mishba.
Ivanhoe by Sir Walter Scott
Riders of the Purple Sage by Zane Grey
Terry Pratchett or Dick Francis are my usual go-to’s
