My 5 yo son has gotten on the sea shanty train, and I've heard "The Wellerman" more times than I can count. This led to some fascinating research on the historical whaling process, and what the lives of whalers were actually like.
Would love recommendations for great stories about whalers! Bonus points of there's a romantic element in the story (not necessary).
I realize this is a little niche, so definitely open to captivating stories about sea voyages in general.
