So expedition goes to a remote area (jungle, north pole, caves, whatever) and slowly, things start to get a little nutty.
I've read and liked a few lovecraftian novels but I'm specifically looking for something like this. Don't recommend actual Lovecraft works like Mountains of Madness, because I've already read those.

I don’t know if it’s quite what you’re looking for in a lovecraftian sense, but The Country Will Bring Us No Peace is an unsettling short story that involves a couple who move to a remote town where things get a little nutty. It’s only short but I think based on your post you’d enjoy it 🙂
Check out Jeff van dermeers novels
Briardark by SA Harrian! It’s incredible and has everything you’re looking for.
* The Invincible by Stanislaw Lem. Scientific expedition goes to alien planet trying to figure out what happened to the previous scientific expedition. This is also being adapted into a survival horror video game of the same name.
* Leech by Hiron Ennes. Hive mind puppets humans around, and sends one of its hosts to find out what killed its previous host stationed in an isolated northern town.
* Revelation Space by Alastair Reynolds. Archaeological expedition on an alien planet finds *something.* Separately, a ship with the most toxic workplace culture hires new personnel.
* The Luminous Dead by Caitlin Starling. This book focuses on the psychological torment of being isolated in a dangerous cave system, all alone.
