I'm 26 weeks pregnant and have just about zero interest in partying anymore. Most days I'm in bed around 9 pm and up again at 6 (and I love my wholesome ass life), but the glamour of a woman in her prime, staying out till 5 am, with a tiny little clutch for her lipstick and cocaine, making deplorable choices in great outfits…I just want to go there in a book!
Please suggest me books that center debaucherous, hedonistic women.
I tend to like more literary & character-driven than plot heavy fiction. I'd also happily read any memoirs that seem applicable.
I'm a big fan of ostentatious prose but beggars can't be choosers
Thank you in advance!

Happy hour – Marlowe Granados
Cat Marnell – How to Murder Your Life. You might recognise her name if you ever read xoJane back in the day. I’d always glom on to her articles immediately, and her book is exactly everything you’d want it to be from a (now reformed?) party girl, whip smart and totally irresistible even (especially?) in the throes of addiction.
