Hello! I am practicing finding books that I like to read, but reading can be really hard for me to stick to, and to start doing especially if I'm not reading something I love.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend some easy, light, books or genres to read in the morning when my mind is groggy and sleepy.

I am open to literally anything. I am 29F.

    Thank you!

    1. You might try My Year of Rest and Relaxation by Ottessa Moshfegh. Very chill. Glacial pace. Not much happens but enjoyable to read.

Emily Henry writes very easy to follow romance novels that are akin to Hallmark movies, imo.

Also, maybe Fredrick Bachman. Well-paced and lovable characters. Thinking mostly of his book Anxious People.

I hope you find the right fit!

Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire. It’s nice and short but also such a great read.
