*Lies we sing to the seas* by Sarah Underwood, *Silence of the girls* by Pat Barker, *Lore* by Alexandra Bracken to satisfy those Percy Jackson cravings.

I’ll always recommend His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman. It’s a fantasy trilogy which has animals representing your soul in physical form, badass witches, talking bears in armours, parallel worlds and philosophical and theological undertones. My favorite books ever.
If you like Percy Jackson, I assume you like mythology and I think you can have a look at retellings of myths, like The Song of Achilles or Circe by Madeline Miller. I’m currently reading The End Crowns All by Bea Fitzgerald, it’s a retelling of the Trojan War from the perspective of Cassandra and Helen, and I’m really invested in the story.

You might really like the Akata trilogy by Nnedi Okorafor. The books are Akata Witch, Akata Warrior, and Akata Woman. It’s got similar magical elements and unhelpful teachers like Harry Potter. It has various Gods with their own agendas like Percy Jackson. And it has kids left to do the hard work because the adults are generally not present that feature in all three of the series you named.

How old are you and what else do you like?
Try anything by Tamora Pierce. Start with *Alanna: the First Adventure, Sandry’s Book,* or *First Test.*
Anything by Diana Wynne Jones. *Howl’s Moving Castle* is a great book and also a great movie. My favorite is *The Merlin Conspiracy*. *The Dark Lord of Derkholm* has a bunch of Fantasy tropes and is funny. Lots of people start with the Chrestomanci books, which are also more or less about training wizards.
*Little Brother* by Cory Doctorow. Near future about a group of kids dealing with government overreach and surveilance.
*Catfishing on Catnet* and *Chaos on Catnet* by Naomi Kritzer*.* Near future about a sentient AI computer program helping some kids. Also *Liberty’s Daughter*, set on a Libertarian floating independent country in international waters.
