I don’t want people just instantly being negative, I genuinely wanna know the argument? I started the show like a month after the finale came out and loved it with all my heart (fuck season 8 but yk). I started the first book a year or 2 later and got far and loved it but idk why I stopped? Anyways, I started again (I got into reading books in general like this past year) and I’m enjoying it sm it’s like watching the show for the first time again. I’m in awe with the detail. I’m abt page 300 on the first book
I don’t want spoilers (yes I seen the show but the books can be different too), I just wanna know, do we think we could ever truly see the series end? I truly do believe we’ll get winds of winter, whether it be sooner or later but how updated about how he doesn’t make much progress does worry me because another 5 years for winds, he’s gonna have no time for dream :(. I know it’s not good to say but damn like the dudes in his 70, isn’t exactly healthy and this stress from his shows are probably not good for him either. It’s not likely he’ll live till like a 100 so I gotta know, do you think we’ll get ADOS? Do you BELIEVE we’ll get it?

I have officially given up and accepted that we will never see the books. I’d rather be surprised in case he actually publishes them, rather than being continuously disappointed.
