I love Dune but only have the first book, I’m think about getting the next five books, or maybe a box set of the original series.
I also love Alien and have heard good things from the old FB weyland yutani groups about the alien books.
I’m buying a few books on my other favourite topic, survival at sea, historic voyages and will be ordering from a Australian used book store soon.
Besides continuing Scalzi’s old man’s series, is there anything else I should consider?
My favourite books are tunnel in the sky, orphans of the sky, starship troopers, time enough for love, friday, caves of steel, the naked sun, between planets, stranger in strange land.
Thanks!

The zones of thought series, the bobiverse, The Hyperion Cantos, The Light Brigade, Project Hail Mary
I loved Children of Time.
The Martian by Andy Weir is basically a Heinlein juvenile except modern, longer, and there’s swearing
