Are there any 1-2 hours audiobook (short stories) that are enjoyable?
I swim regularly and usually listen to music/podcasts, however, I'd like to change to audiobooks. Short stories would be best so I don't lose the plot too much.
Look up the collected short stories of Stephen King. Literally any collection of his are fantastic!

I enjoy the old radio shows from the 30s-50s. If you look at Audible, there are collections of them there. I appreciate that you can listen to an entire episode of a show in a car trip. Many had excellent casts. For example, there were radio versions of many of the top films of the day. Some shows can be more campy and fun (Johnny Dollar, the Man With the Action-Packed Expense Account).

It’s a little longer but the Nothing To See Here audiobook by Kevin Wilson was a lovely listen— lots of fun voices lol
