Hello everyone,
My friend’s mum recently lent me Lessons in Chemistry, and I loved that book so much. I later learned that she loves historical books, and I wanted to thank her for her hospitality when I visited her.
Does anyone know what kind of book I could recommend to her? She’s already read many well-known historical books and loved titles such as:
— A Gentleman in Moscow
— The Reading List
— Lilac Girls
— The Alice Network
Does anyone have a recommendation for another book she might enjoy that I could gift her? I am German and have read many WWII books, but I noticed she already owns The Book Thief, so I’m looking for something else.
Thank you all so much

Umberto Ecco’s The Name of The Rose
Ken Follet’s Pillars of The Earth
The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons. I think she’ll love this one
