I’m looking for books or series where a character makes a deliberate decision that causes the world to end, or some sort of other great sacrifice. Similar to Oryx and Crake or the Fifth Season, or even Watchmen or that Avengers movie. Any genre works. I don’t mind if this event is a plot twist or spoiler, just looking to explore this a bit.
