Reading is my favourite pastime, but not one I’ve always been able to give as much attention to as I would’ve liked. I recently took a new job that gives me more flexibility, and happy to say I finally have more headspace for it.

I’ve been a bit scattergun, just reading things I’d had built up in my TBR pile or randomly seeing and sampling on my kindle.

My latest 10 reads – would love any recommendations off the back of these. I can get through a book every 3-4 days so would love some new non-Amazon recommendations!

    • Ghosts & Good Material by Dolly Alderton (really enjoyable)
    • The Bee Sting by Paul Murray (hated the start but got into it in the end)
    • Fingersmith by Sarah Waters (enjoyed the twists, turns and double crossing)
    • I hope this finds you well by Natalie Sue (enjoyed the dark humour but also just general darkness – heartwarming enough to be hopeful, honest about mental health struggles)
    • Bunny by Mona Awad (enjoyed the NFI-where-this-is-going, less around the university setting)
    • The Forever War by Nick Bryant (I’m not American but I’m a US politics junkie)
    • Legends & Lattes, Bonedust & Bookshops by Travis Baldree (I love a cosy adventure)
    • The Lost World by Michael Crichton (huge JP fan, but couldn’t get the OG on my Kindle – grrr)
