I've been feeling aimless for the past few years. I have not been able to find a job at all and this has put pressure on my financial situation, my relationship, my free time and my emotional health. And then, one day, I had a dream.
I dreamed that I was in Manaus (Brazil) on a vacation. In my dream, Manaus wasn't a big city, but rather a small village. I was inside a small grocery store buying things with my friends to eat that afternoon. Outside, there was a square with a tree in the center. The day was hot and windy, and the wind made the weather very pleasant. I was in no rush for anything or had a day to go home. On that trip, nothing was pressuring me. Everything was light again. I was light again.
To this day, when I want to imagine my ideal life, I remember that dream. And I wish I had books that could give me that same feeling. A story without rushing, without obligations, without pressure. Just the vacation passing slowly like a breeze on the porch. If it is located in a tropical location even better, like Brazil or Hawaii.
