I went through a depressive episode and recently got out of it. In the process of recovery, I slipped into an overly hedonistic worldview that I now realize is detrimental for my own good. While I rationally understand that I need to do things that don't give me a temporary jolt of happiness, I find a lot of inertia when I try to implement it. I feel reading a good book will help my psyche deal with this behavior.
What books would you recommend for me in this situation?
