The Incredible Lightness of being is one of my favorite books, and I find the ending to be sublime. I really want to be able to see photos of the village/collective Thomas and Tereza lived on.
Kundera doesn’t name the collective, and doesn’t give us any explanations of what it looks like, besides one detail, “The road started climbing in hairpin curves.” (This might suggest they lived in a mountainous region, at least on the way to the hotel).
So my question is for Czech people or those very familiar with Czechia—where did you picture this portion of the story taking place? I would like to search it up on Google Maps for my own curiosity. Thank you!
