I've been trying to read since last year but never got to finish a book. I never grew up reading but I really want to read books, I love stories. But in a day I can barely read 2 chapters. I tried reading project hail Mary but still never got to finish it, I really liked it though, played out like a movie. I also want a decent lengthy book, around 200 pages.
Also, are there tips to help with reading endurance? A book I remember reading when I was younger was the norse mythology book by Neil Gaiman, loved the short stories (still would like a long form story tho)

James Patterson. Chapters are like 2-3 pages.
Start with novels, short stories etc. they can be completed fairly quickly. Also start with something you know is unputdownable and which you can enjoy in one sitting.
Have you tried listening to an audiobook while you do a mindless task with your hands to stay focused? Sometimes I will clean, fold laundry, cook or even play a cell phone game while I listen to an audiobook. You may find it easier to focus like that.
I’d read a super action packed fantasy.
