Hey guys! I have a deep clean to do on Sunday and will take 8hrs or more.
I would like a riveting book that will keep me going and engrossed so the hours of polishing and hoovering fly by. Help me out please!
I like all kinds of books but Sci fi and fantasy more appreciated. Thanks all in advance.

I just read The Raven Conspiracy by Michael Spratt. The most fun book I have read in 10 years – read it twice in 48 hours. I READ 1ST TIME FROM 9pm to 3am – could not stop
Terra Invictus.
It’s a modern day science fiction fantasy. It begins pre-dystopian as the world and society begins to collapse. It is heavy on conspiracy, war, pandemic, also Roman Republic Lore, mythology, fallen angels, secret societies, extraterrestrials and survival. It follows 2 POVs. A man and a woman. Jack who is an American from Texas and the leader or his modern day Order of Knights and Valentia who is a Romacarth General of Roman ancestry who lives in Nova Roma and fights to keep the monsters of the outer worlds at bay. Both are superb tacticians in their respective worlds.
Book came out earlier this year on printed copy and Ebook but the audiobook just came out.

Very basic but the acotar books (first one) my fav audio book for chores because it’s on Spotify for free w/premium and it’s interesting enough for time to fly by but simple enough that it’s not the end of the world if you zone out
