Magic realism recommendations to match the spooky season?

I reread Alice Hoffman’s Practical Magic (I also love The Probable Future) every Fall and thought it would be nice to add to that. Could be a bit more fantastical, or more everyday. Any time period. Doesn’t need to be romantic.
