So I don’t like overly smutty books, especially when the characters don’t really mesh well in my mind and the intimacy is rushed. I want a book that has romance, but the spicy bits are more indirect yet noticeable. The best example I can think of is the Song of Achilles where the sexual exchanges were more implicit and emotional than anything else. Essentially I want the author to layout a vague framework, and let me put the pieces together. Can be in any genre, but will have a preference for fantasy. Thanks!

Rival radio by Kathryn Nolan is a fantastic read! The build-up might be a bit slow, but that just adds to the intense sexual tension that makes for some amazing smut scenes. Oh, the smut in this book is absolutely scorching! And the best part is how genuine and heartwarming their love feels. It’s just so adorable!
