I’m in a book club and am at a loss for what to pick for my turn. I somewhat want to do The Book Thief because it’s such a lovely book but feel it might be a little too YA for the club, we’re all in our 20s in college. Any ideas similar to but maybe more mature? Or would it be fine and I’m overthinking? We read This is How You Lose the Time War, and I absolutely loved it so if anyone knows anything similar to that style as well that’d be perfect. We jump around genres a lot so anything that you think would fit!

I think The Book Thief will be great for a book club. It centres around a child, but it’s not exactly a nursery rhyme. The topics are real world topics for people of all ages. I think a book club should be about how different people interpret different parts of a story. It’s a good idea.

      Yes, you’re overthinking it😉
