I'm looking for a book on human prehistory. Specifically, I would like a comprehensive text. I'm not looking for those short easy reads with eye-catching covers that you encounter on front table displays at bookstore chains. I want like a thick monstrosity of a text. Something that really delves into the science, the anthropology, etc. It can be a university textbook, a series of volumes, I'm open to it. It just needs to be thorough.
