Hello, i have a question for everyone that knows about book cleaning/restoration.
The other day i found outside a trash some old books, some of them wet and some others not. I took some of them ( the not wet ones), cleaned them with wet towels and left them for 3-4 days on a sunny balcony. Is it anything that i should do to be sure that it is safe to put them in my library? I really dont want to throw them away, but im afraid they might have bacteria or some bug and damage the rest of them.
Ps. Someone told me to out them in the furnace for a little bit (at 200°C).
