Though I love a good laugh and easygoing writing as much as the next girl, I am a lyrical/deep-writing person through and through. I’m looking for contemporary books with writing like Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and maybe fantasy novels vibes. In contrast, writing styles I’m not the biggest fan of are Emily Henry’s and Ali Hazelwood’s. Nothing against them, just not my cup of tea. Too exaggerated and “quirky”.
Romance or anything is good. Thanks!

I really love Ann Pratchett’s writing style. And if you like Evelyn Hugo, TJR has several more books. I’d recommend Daisy Jones next if you haven’t read it.
