8th Grade Series Reccomendations

Hello! Looking for 8th Grade/Middle School series recommendations. Preferably nothing with inappropriate topics.

I'd like something similar to The Wings of Fire series or The Magisterium series; a fantasy book series with indepth world building

Alternatively, I'd also appreciate books around the same level about plants, reptiles, or Spanish. However, this is a much less urgent need.
