The last books I read are The Last Night at the Telegraph Club by Melonda Lo and You Should be so Lucky by Cat Sebastian and I really liked them! I would like to read more queer historical fiction book if people have stuff to recommend!

I really enjoyed “The Adventures of China Iron” by Gabriela Cabezón Cámara. It’s a queer retelling of Argentina’s “Juan Fierro” supermacho gaucho epic. Kinda niche but really enjoyable and quick.

    2. Have you read the rest of Cat Sebastian’s works? She has several more queer historical romances.

    3. KJ Charles has a number of queer historical novels. For mystery Death in the Spires, for spy/thriller- the Will Darling Adventures starting with Slippery Creatures, for Regency The Secret Lives of Country Gentlemen are all great.

    4. *My Dear Henry* by Kalynn Bayron is a gay version of *Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde*.

*She Who Became the Sun* by Shelley Parker-Chan – it is sometimes labelled as fantasy but the fantastical element is really minor. It reads like a historical novel set in 14th century China. It is an alternative, queer reading of the founding of the Ming dynasty. It is probably less light than the books you mentioned (which I haven’t read but Last Night is on my TBR!).
