I love love love time travel stories.
I also love the plot structure when they flip back-and-forth between time periods. For example, there are two stories, one in a different generation, but they tie together.
A good example of the latter was “A small death in Lisbon”
Does anyone have any favorites to recommend?
Thanks!

Michael Crichton’s **Timeline** has a group of grad students go back to 14th century France to investigate a mystery while another group stays in the present to assist/protect them. Much of the story is set in the past, depicting the brutality of life back then.

Time and Again by Jack Finney.
